At S.E.A PLUG, our mission is simple yet urgent: to bridge the gap between environmental education and modern lifestyle through accessible, creative media while directly giving back to the communities leading this work.
We aim to:
· Challenge misinformation about climate change and sustainable living
· Promote balance, wellness, and respect for the planet through content that informs, inspires, and uplifts
· Highlight sustainable fashion and intentional design as drivers of cultural and environmental change
· Support and amplify the voices of Indigenous nonpro ts, local eco-leaders, and sustainable Canadian brands
S.E.A. PLUG, based in Oshawa on the traditional and treaty territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation and other Williams Treaty signatories including Hiawatha, Curve Lake, Alderville, Rama, and Beausoleil, acknowledges the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg who have stewarded Turtle Island since time immemorial. As an eco consciousness business committed to sustainability and reconciliation, we benefit from this land and direct 20% of fundraiser profits to Indigenous nonprofits while promising to center sustainability as our main value—learning from and honouring Indigenous knowledge in all our environmental practices, honouring ongoing relationships and responsibilities to the land
